Terms of service
CSRA Ground Control
Effective Date: October 9, 2026
Welcome to CSRA Ground Control! We appreciate the opportunity to care for your property. These Terms of Service outline our policies, customer responsibilities, and service expectations to help ensure a professional and positive experience.
By requesting, scheduling, approving, or receiving services from CSRA Ground Control, you agree to the applicable terms outlined below, subject to any separately executed written agreement.
1. Services Provided
CSRA Ground Control provides professional lawn care, landscaping, and property maintenance services throughout the Central Savannah River Area (CSRA), including Augusta, Evans, Grovetown, Martinez, Harlem, Appling, Hephzibah, North Augusta, Aiken, and surrounding communities.
Our services include, but are not limited to:
Residential and commercial lawn maintenance
Landscape installation and renovation
Sod installation and lawn restoration
Mulch and pine straw installation
Shrub trimming and landscape bed maintenance
Irrigation installation, diagnostics, and repairs
Drainage solutions and erosion control
Grading and property improvements
Property cleanups and debris removal
The specific services provided will be determined by the customer's approved estimate, service agreement, or recurring maintenance arrangement.
Services not expressly included in an approved scope of work may require additional charges.
2. Scheduling and Service Frequency
Recurring Lawn Maintenance
During the growing season (March through November), recurring lawn maintenance is generally performed on a weekly or biweekly schedule.
During the off-season (December through February), service frequency may transition to monthly or biweekly visits depending on property conditions and the customer's maintenance arrangement.
CSRA Ground Control operates on a route-based scheduling system to maintain efficiency and provide consistent service.
Customers are assigned service days based on established routes and availability.
Specific service times cannot be guaranteed.
Requests for customized service days or times may not be accommodated.
Routes may be adjusted due to weather, holidays, staffing, equipment issues, or other operational circumstances.
Shrub and Landscape Bed Maintenance
For customers whose maintenance agreement includes routine shrub trimming:
Weekly lawn maintenance customers generally receive shrub trimming twice per month.
Biweekly lawn maintenance customers generally receive shrub trimming once per month.
Shrub trimming may be performed by a separate crew and may not occur on the same day as lawn maintenance.
These frequencies apply unless otherwise specified in the customer's service agreement.
3. Weather Delays and Service Adjustments
Weather conditions may affect our ability to safely or effectively perform scheduled services.
CSRA Ground Control reserves the right to postpone, reschedule, or modify services due to rain, saturated ground, severe weather, unsafe working conditions, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
When weather delays occur, we will make reasonable efforts to resume service as scheduling and property conditions allow.
If a property is excessively wet, mowing or equipment operation may be postponed to prevent unnecessary turf damage.
Weather-related delays do not automatically constitute a canceled service or entitle a customer to a refund.
4. Customer Cancellations and Service Changes
We understand that service needs occasionally change. However, our crews, equipment, and routes are scheduled in advance.
Same-Day Cancellations
Customers who cancel a scheduled service on the day it is scheduled may be charged the full amount of that service.
Temporary Service Suspensions
Requests to skip, pause, or temporarily suspend recurring services must be communicated in advance and are subject to scheduling availability.
If a customer skips a regularly scheduled visit and the property requires additional labor upon our return, an additional cleanup or overgrowth charge may apply.
Service Termination
Customers may request termination of recurring services by contacting our office.
Any outstanding balances for completed services, applicable cancellation charges, or previously authorized work remain due.
Services governed by a separately signed agreement may have additional cancellation or termination requirements.
5. Pricing, Estimates, and Additional Work
Pricing is based on the property's size, condition, accessibility, service frequency, labor requirements, materials, and scope of work.
Written estimates describe the work included in the quoted price.
Additional work requested after approval of an estimate, or work required because of unforeseen site conditions, may result in additional charges.
Whenever reasonably practical, additional charges will be communicated for customer approval before the additional work begins.
Estimates may be subject to revision due to changes in material costs, site conditions, project requirements, or the scope of work.
Any applicable taxes, disposal fees, permits, or other project-specific charges will be addressed in the estimate or agreement.
6. Payment Terms and Billing
Recurring Maintenance Billing
Recurring maintenance invoices are generally issued on the Tuesday following the applicable service week.
For customers enrolled in monthly recurring billing arrangements, invoices are generally issued on the 20th of each month.
Payment due dates will be identified on the customer's invoice or service agreement.
Payment Method on File
Customers receiving recurring services are required to maintain a valid payment card on file before their first scheduled service, unless an alternative arrangement has been approved by CSRA Ground Control.
Having a card on file does not, by itself, authorize charges outside the terms of the customer's payment authorization.
Past-Due Balances
Accounts with overdue balances may be subject to service suspension until payment arrangements have been made.
Customers remain responsible for payment of services already performed and any applicable charges permitted by their agreement and law.
CSRA Ground Control reserves the right to decline additional work on accounts with outstanding balances.
Project Deposits and Final Payments
Landscaping, drainage, irrigation, sod installation, and other larger projects may require deposits or progress payments as specified in the approved estimate or project agreement.
Final payment is due according to the terms outlined in the applicable invoice or agreement.
7. Property Access and Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for providing reasonable and safe access to areas where services are scheduled.
Before each service visit, customers should:
Secure pets and ensure work areas are accessible.
Remove toys, hoses, furniture, decorations, and other movable obstacles from work areas.
Ensure gates are unlocked or provide appropriate access instructions.
Identify known hazards, underground utilities, irrigation components, invisible fencing, and other concealed features.
Notify our office of changes to property access or conditions that may affect service.
If our crew cannot safely access the property or complete the scheduled service due to circumstances within the customer's control, the visit may be subject to a cancellation or trip charge, where previously disclosed and permitted.
CSRA Ground Control is not responsible for damage resulting from concealed hazards or improperly installed or maintained property features that were not reasonably identifiable, except to the extent caused by our negligence or otherwise required by law.
8. Lawn Maintenance Expectations
Our maintenance services are designed to promote a neat, healthy, and consistently maintained landscape.
Results may vary depending on weather, grass type, soil conditions, irrigation, seasonal growth, and property conditions.
Unless specifically included in the service agreement, routine lawn maintenance does not automatically include:
Fertilization or weed control treatments
Irrigation repairs
Tree removal or major pruning
Extensive debris or storm cleanup
Landscape renovations
Overgrown property restoration
Pest or disease treatments
Properties requiring substantial additional labor beyond normal maintenance may be subject to separate pricing.
9. Sod Installation and Landscape Establishment
New sod, plants, shrubs, and trees require appropriate care after installation.
Following completion of an installation, the customer is responsible for ongoing watering, irrigation operation, and proper landscape care unless these services are specifically included in a written agreement.
CSRA Ground Control may provide watering and maintenance recommendations; however, the customer is responsible for following those instructions.
Plant and turf establishment can be affected by:
Insufficient or excessive watering
Improper irrigation coverage
Extreme temperatures or weather
Soil conditions and drainage
Insects, disease, or wildlife
Improper mowing or maintenance
Other environmental factors beyond our control
CSRA Ground Control cannot guarantee the continued health or survival of living landscape materials after installation unless an express written warranty provides otherwise.
Any applicable installation warranty will be described in the customer's approved project agreement.
10. Irrigation Systems and Drainage Services
Irrigation diagnostics may require an initial diagnostic fee, currently $250, unless otherwise quoted or agreed upon.
This diagnostic service may include evaluation and minor adjustments or repairs that can reasonably be completed during the visit. Additional parts, extensive repairs, or major modifications may require separate pricing and approval.
Irrigation performance may be affected by existing system design, water pressure, underground conditions, and components outside the scope of the authorized work.
Drainage and erosion control systems are designed to improve water management based on observed property conditions and the approved scope of work.
Because rainfall intensity, soil conditions, neighboring properties, and natural water movement can vary, no drainage installation can guarantee the complete elimination of standing water, erosion, or flooding under all conditions.
11. Existing Property Conditions and Underground Utilities
Customers must disclose known underground features, including private utility lines, irrigation pipes, septic systems, drainage lines, invisible pet fencing, and other concealed installations.
CSRA Ground Control will take reasonable precautions while performing excavation, grading, drainage, and landscaping work.
Where required, public utility locating procedures will be followed before excavation.
Privately installed utilities and other underground features may require separate identification by the property owner or an appropriate locating service.
Any responsibility for accidental damage will be determined by the circumstances, the parties' respective obligations, and applicable law.
12. Project Delays and Material Availability
Estimated project start dates and completion timelines may change due to weather, site conditions, material availability, permitting, equipment issues, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
CSRA Ground Control will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant scheduling changes.
Substitutions of plants, sod varieties, or other material specifications requiring a material change to the approved project will be discussed with the customer before proceeding.
13. Service Concerns and Property Damage
Customer satisfaction is important to CSRA Ground Control.
If a customer has a concern regarding a completed service, we ask that they contact our office as soon as reasonably possible so the issue can be reviewed.
When appropriate, we may schedule a property inspection or return visit to evaluate the concern.
CSRA Ground Control is responsible for damage caused by its negligence or wrongful conduct to the extent required by applicable law.
Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded.
14. Photographs and Project Documentation
CSRA Ground Control may photograph work areas before, during, and after service for estimating, quality control, project documentation, and dispute resolution.
Use of identifiable customer property photographs for advertising, website galleries, or social media will be subject to applicable privacy requirements and any necessary customer permissions.
15. Communications
By providing contact information, customers agree that CSRA Ground Control may contact them regarding estimates, scheduling, invoices, service updates, and other matters related to their requested services.
Marketing emails or text messages, if used, will be subject to applicable consent and opt-out requirements.
Customers are responsible for maintaining accurate contact information.
16. Changes to Terms of Service
CSRA Ground Control may update these Terms of Service from time to time.
The current version will be available on our website.
Material changes affecting existing recurring service arrangements will be communicated as appropriate. Changes will not retroactively alter the terms of previously approved work unless agreed upon by the parties or otherwise permitted by law.
17. Governing Law and Written Agreements
These terms are intended to operate in accordance with applicable laws in Georgia and South Carolina, depending on the location and circumstances of the services provided.
If a provision is determined to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
Where a separately executed written service agreement or approved project contract conflicts with these general terms, the specific written agreement will control.
Nothing in these Terms of Service limits rights or remedies that cannot be waived under applicable law.
